It was Sunday afternoon.
Dad and I went looking for houses, because we have to move soon.
Anyways, among the houses we looked at, we came upon this fairly pretty house.
When we went inside, the house was like a palace! And the colors of the wall were so autumn-like. Beautiful.
I called it, “peaches.”
I gazed in awe at the beautiful sight that met my eyes. Finally, I moved over to one of the rooms and looked out the window. The neighborhood was really, truly ugly.
It got me thinking:
Many of us stock up on things that bring us comfort and try to forget about how Dark the world outside really is. We forget about all the people in need and despair, we are just so caught up in ourselves. Like the house, it takes one look outside the window to see how bad the condition really is.
