Faith means leaving your eyes behind…

Graft My Soul Upon Your Grief

There are times that mourning is incredibly beautiful.
Often, when we are done behaving selfishly, God opens up His own heart and “grafts my soul upon His grief” (Oh My God by Jars of Clay).
He shows us the sorrows of this world. He allows us to feel the piercing agony of people that are going through horrible circumstances.
However, even though this pain can be overwhelming and powerful, there is a beauty in it.
The beauty is that you are not carrying the pain alone on your shoulders. Your tears are shared by the King of all Kings.
You are sharing the pain.
You are not alone.

That is pain that I would not mind experiencing over and over.
One, it makes my problems look minuscule.
Two, this sort of pain does not make me feel lonely.

Allow Him to graft your soul upon His grief.
Those are some magnificent times with God.

Love,
Joy.
Envision That Horizon.
Ask Him to allow you to feel bits of his pain.
